TIKUN HA OLAM
This is not a plea for money, There is enough money in this world,
Here follows a list of some of the projects I believe is in line with my goals.
Be part of a growing community of people who take action in word and deed.
It all starts and ends with us. If we were not there, what would all of the things in life matter? Be part of a drive for longevity in all its shapes and forms reaping the benefits of a fulfilling and worthy innings in your life. Conscious changing of life threatening habits, changing of you physical awareness, dietary requirements and mind limiting concepts are at the core of creating a new you. Get to know yourself and become whole. Learn about fragmentation, wholeness and Oneness
1. Longevity
2. Love and above

3. OMCORE - OPERATION MOBILIZATION COMMUNITY OF RIGHTEOUS ELDERS
Actively get our elderly involved to reach out to people in need around them. Our elderly are so valuable. Why is it then that society push them aside as worthless burdens? Realize how much they can still achieve because they have a wealth of knowledge and experience. They can be involved in every one of the projects as listed here and make a huge positive impact on our community
Everyone needs to get involved and create this concept of worthiness among fellow
senior citizens
4. Fruit
Trees
Be part of a project which has the
aim of planting fruit trees at schools, institutions, NPO's and every
participating landowner all over the world.
Planting of fruit trees provide a lifelong provision of fruit and thus
the correct kind of nutrition for all children, families and communities. Buy trees or get trees donated and
plant them everywhere and get
everyone with land to grow fruit trees and later incorporate the growing
of bi- and peri-annual fruit and vegetable bearing shrubs and plants. The motivation for the project is threefold. Firstly it is due to the high prices of fruit and food and secondly also due to the current wastage taking place as a result of the organised local and international markets. The third motivation is the growing methods used regarding fertilizers and insecticides as well as the inorganic, hormone boosted mass production just to make money. I can add a fourth and
that will be the increasing use of mechanical methods to produce our fruit and food which directly take away the self-existence of millions of people across the globe. The principle is simple. Each one involved takes ownership of the trees he/she plants, care for them, and distribute the fruit within their schools, family circles and communities. There are many value adding opportunities for everyone involved. Please act and be part of this global project from which everyone and especially our children benefits, now and in the future

6. Alternative and back to basic health and wellness organic shops

7. Neighbourhood safety and local
community involvement
I have been chairman and am now still a patroller in our
local student community in Hatfield in Pretoria in South Africa. Over the last couple of years the concept of
our residents standing and working together made a great impact on how we
function and actually combats crime and addresses other issues in our
community. Out of this evolved two
things which I view as important to go forward in the future
1 1. Proactive and active means and methods of
preventing and consequently combating crime in our neighbourhoods. This is achieved by ACT an acronym for:
a) active
participation of the members of the community in the neighbourhood (patrolling,
alerting others of incidents taking place, etc.)
b) communicating effectively (Whats-app, signs and signage, meetings, events etc.) and
c) teamwork (local authorities, police, stakeholders such as the University of Pretoria and large business in our community)

b) communicating effectively (Whats-app, signs and signage, meetings, events etc.) and
c) teamwork (local authorities, police, stakeholders such as the University of Pretoria and large business in our community)
2. Consolidation of properties. This is a new idea where the aim is that all
people living in a specific block/cluster of houses, put up a fence around the
perimeter and getting rid of the inside fences with one entrance and one
exit. Residents must buy into this
concept
This is a plain straight forward
marketing principle, however; the idea is always to come back and return to our
healthy and basic human existence.
Therefore only organic, kosher and natural products will be sought and marketed. Companies supporting this principle will be
targeted and campaigns to promote their products will be launched and
hosted. The idea is to create work for
youngsters and create awareness among the public but with using other
companies’ products. As many people will
be employed as necessary depending on the client’s needs
9. Mentors and mentorship programmes for young children age 8 to 18
Act as mentors for young people in your family, community, town, city and country. Our youngsters are fragmented and needs good solid guidance and support. Not really religious support, but one on one interactive life skills training and supportive tuition in physical activities
This is a global project but to
start off there is a huge need for good sound steadfast mentors in South
Africa. With the high divorce rate and
also other uncertainties influencing our young children's lives, we do not want life
coaches or money driven instructors only helping the children for their own
gain. We want men and women who can take a child in
(in the absence of his own father or mother) on a programme, giving them physical and
mental life sustaining assistance.
E.g. if they are good in
athletics, support them in it by providing the clothes and shoes for them to do
and feel good about themselves. Get them to trainers who can teach them how to https://web.facebook.com/Mentors-of-Boys-154403056098/?_rdc=1&_rdr run.
Support them by giving or providing them with the right food and
nutrition. Support them by teaching them other things over and above the athletics so that they can live a fulfilled
life. Be there for them whatever it takes
for them to come out okay after 18.
Mentorship cannot always be religiously based but take that child and put
him/her in like-minded adult's care. Support
his/her family even where possible.
The idea is to employ people to
look out and find these mentors and to develop a programme for each and every
individual child needing a mentor. So
many older people can contribute in fields like sports, trades, business,
science and inventions etc. There is not
really a financial return on investment but the social responsibility gain in each
community is priceless
We need good mentors willing to commit unselfish to this very needed challenge
10. Specific Community Development with the aim
for it to be self-sustainable
a) Get a piece of land, get the community involved and develop it to produce not only organic foods, but also various locally manufactured items of worth. Live off the land and tend to it as a means of living and lifestyle.
b) Start a network of people in your community to produce foods and items as mentioned above but in their own available space and then trade among each other by swapping those goods and services. It is a dream of mine to establish a kibbutz.
11. Venues where woman can contribute to
the needs of their families and their community

Also a place where woman can interact
socially and be empowered to provide secure and comfortable care for each
other, their children and other members of their local community, much like a
charitable organisation except that this will be in a club form and the
sustainability will

come from them paying to be members thereof. The venue will provide for their baby's and toddler’s playgroups, book rooms, music and entertainment, after school care for their children, training facilities and if the premise is large enough even for some sports activities. Fruit and vegetable gardens can be established also.

12. Recycling the suburbs

13. Canning and preserving of fruit and vegetables and
preservation of meat and fish
With half of our fresh fruit and
vegetables being wasted due to “Sell By Date programmes” it is a shame to even
want to have to address this issue of food canning. There are a few monopolies
in the industry but the scope of providing relief to millions of hungry people
is vast. Needless to say by now is that
many people can be employed to can food and so many more can benefit on the
receiving side of the project. I am not
talking charity but supplying these foods at substantially lower prices than
the existing companies do.
14. Ordinary people against drugs and alcohol
I am not going to expand on this topic but it is one of the largest killers of people in the world because more than half the population is addicted to drugs and alcohol in some sort of manner. The drug war is real and our ordinary people suffer the most. Please eradicate this sick epidemic which is laming our youth and making them incompetent adults later in life
Get in touch with your local anti drug and alcohol campaigns and stop the cycle
15. Stop the manufacturing of petrochemical plastics and use hemp based biodegradable plastics in stead

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR THE GOOD
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR THE GOOD
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR THE GOOD
After all said and done the decision remains with you to take action. You can choose to be part of one or all of the projects above. Be you getting involved on the provision or receiving side, just get involved. No time to lose.. What I would like to see is that this web page is seen by as many people as possible and that everyone with the power to make any sort of change contribute to their families, local communities and other organisations.
Be part of the goal to restore the earth and the people on it to one large healthy and wealthy community. Community by community
Please read through this page.
